Garbage for the needy
A few weeks ago we got Mary involved in deciding which toys she would give up and donate. We explained how some children don’t have toys, and that toys she would donate would go to them.
Today was trash day. The blue bin was light enough to carry, so Mary dragged it to the door while Matthew watched. Once she reached the door she turned to Matthew and explained, “See Matthew, we have to give our garbage to other people who don’t have garbage.”

Mary responded, “It’s quiet because God created quiet!”
Found out later they were teaching the story of creation at her Sunday school.
