A prayer for the sun…

Approaching what was suppose to be a soggy wet weekend, Miriam was prepping Matthew for a canceled soccer practice and game. She did explain though that he can pray for a sunny day, and perhaps God can help out with his request.

As folks in Toronto know,  Saturday turned out to be a surprisingly BEAUTIFUL day!

Later that day Matthew turned to me and said,

Daddy, it’s sunny outside because I prayed.

Then he whispered…

I don’t think we’re going to have school anymore either.
